Did you know that ZEISS products are orbiting a comet?

When the Rosetta probe was sent on her ten-year journey through space to the Churyumov–Gerasimenko comet, there were amongst others two spectrometer systems featuring ZEISS gratings on board. Thanks to the landing of the Philae minilab and the measurement data sent to Earth, the Rosetta Mission is highly successful and you can view stunning pictures made by the probe.
