Buzz Aldrin (right), who in 1969 walked on the moon shortly after Neil Armstrong, was an honored guest at the opening. Dr. Michael Kaschke, the President and CEO of ZEISS spoke to Buzz about the legendary ZEISS Planar 80mm F/2.8 lens. The extreme conditions on the moon and in space placed extremely high demands on the equipment.
