95 films from 18 countries were screened on the dome of the ZEISS Planetarium in Jena from 27 to 30 May. Audiences were wowed by the 360-degree productions shown on the approx. 830 square meter projection surface. Alongside full-dome features, the program also featured expert workshops and presentations. ZEISS has been sponsoring the prizes for the best student submissions of the festival since 2008. This special event provides a platform for the latest productions in full-dome format. It also allows for new directions to be tested in the artistic, scientific and receptive adaptation of this medium which is still in its infancy.
