This week SAR readers photos selection.
Anthony Dalesandro
This is Tim. Back in the day, he worked with Andy Warhol in The Factory and partied at Studio 54. He’s filled with great stories, many of which you can see in the character of his face. Sony A7S with Leica Summicron 50mm. Shot at a fantastic one-light seminar in Los Angeles.

Having never attempted smoke photography before, I thought I’d give it a go with my A7 II. I felt this one really came alive once I removed the source of the smoke in post.

Sony is the only company without a product announcement at CP+. Your thoughts?
The Zeiss 35mm FE cut in half at CP+ Sony booth (Source: Matthew Allard).
Well, Sony decided to literally skip the CP+ show and is as far as I know the only major photo company not having announced a new camera or lens. But also the other companies kept a low profile (Read Engadget articles about that). Canon’s 5ds will ship in June only and all other manufacturers did show many prototypes and much less “real” production cameras.
Just like it happened with the A7II launch Sony seems to prefer to launch major stuff off the big show to get more publicity. And here is the question to our SAR readers:
