Within my view, nothing is certain. My subjects are illuminated from behind towards the front. I can see through everything fully – even impenetrable materials and the tiniest structures. Which ZEISS product am I?

Zeiss will soon announce a new line of lenses named “Loxia”. It will be made for the Full Frame Sony E-mount system! The characteristic of those lenses are:
- They are native E-mount Full Frame lenses
- These are designed and made by Zeiss itself. These are not Zeiss branded and Sony manufactured lenses like the Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 FE for example.
- These are manual focusing prime lenses (allows a more compact design).
- They have a physical aperture ring on the lens.
- Made of very high material quality.
- There will be many of such lenses coming the next 12 months.
Exciting!!! Stay tuned on SAR. I am working to get the lens specs as soon as it gets….

The logo you see on top is the official name of a new lens line registered by Zeiss (Source: trademarkia.com). The new lens line will be launched for Full Frame mirrorless system. Obviously it will come as E-mount only for now but can be extended to all other future full frame mirrorless system that could be unveiled in 2015 by Fuji for example.
Zeiss will announce the first E-mount FF Loxia lenses the coming days already!
